Great for stretching and maintaining correct hat size

Very happy with item I bought a year ago. So I decided to buy another. Brush is also very good and a nice size and shape.
Can easily stretch a hat a couple of cm’s if needed. Great size range on stretcher.
A must have for hats with inner leather bands which tend to shrink. But can be used on all hats.

Steam the inside band before applying the hat stretcher to the inside of your hat. Doing so expedites the time it takes for hats to stretch properly. Put the hat stretcher into the hat, turn the inner linkage to separate the two wooden blocks, expand it out a little bit over the span of a few days. When you’re ready to remove it, turn the black bolt the other way and remove it. Leaving the stretcher inside of your hat for upwards to 48 hours will increase the size by two sizes larger.
